Spanish series 1992 goes on floors

1992, a new Spanish fictional series, began filming in Madrid recently. Directed by Álex de la Iglesia, the series will premiere on Netflix.  The filming of this new thriller will take place in various locations in Seville and Madrid.

It stars Marian Álvarez, Fernando Valdivielso, Paz Vega, and Carlos Santos, among others, star in the upcoming series. According to the streaming platform, the synopsis reads, "After the death of her husband in a strange explosion, Amparo (Marian Alvárez) begins to search for answers with the only help of Richi (Fernando Valdivielso), a security guard, ex-cop, and alcoholic. Meanwhile, the murders always follow the same pattern: next to the burned bodies of the victims appears a doll of Curro, the iconic mascot of the Expo '92 in Seville." 1992's script is written by Pablo Tebar and Jorge Valdano.
