On Tuesday, Mahaveer Jains announced their next project titled Mera Yaar Bajrangi. The film, which promises to be a devotional drama, stars Ravi Kishan in the lead role.
The makers also unveiled the first look of their film. Directed by Amit Aarryan, the film is jointly produced by Mahaveer Jains and Ratpack Stories, with Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Anu Gurnani, Kavin Shah, Vinayak Kumar, Kshitij Mehta, and Shikha K Ahluwalia. Additionally, the team also announced release details. The first look also carries the film's tagline, 'Dosti ho to Aisi.'
Mera Yaar Bajrangi has been tentatively set for Diwali 2027 release, possibly clashing with Ramayana: Part 2, if the latter sticks to its original release schedule.
Amit Aarryan has previously worked for a long period in TV as a dialogue writer. His filmography includes Anybody Can Dance and Do Knot Disturb.
Ravi Kishan, who was recently seen in Mirzapur: The Movie, is also a part of upcoming Sunny Deol starrer action-drama Suryaa: Ant se Aarambh Tak. The film is set for theatrical release on November 20.
The slate for Mahveer Jain Films, meanwhile, also includes a collaboration with Imtiaz Ali. The banner is also collaborating with Siddharth Anand on a thriller, inspired by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's influential intervention in Colombia's civil war many years ago.
