In a recent interview, Salman Khan opened up on many things personal and professional. The actor revealed that he never reads a script before signing a film offer, also sharing his reasons for doing so.

Speaking to Variety, Salman opened up about why he doesn’t like to read scripts. Salman said,  “I have never read a script in my life. I’ve written them, but I’ve never read them. If I start reading them, I face a problem that my mind gets stuck on the fifth line while I am reading the third line. I keep tossing between these two lines.”

Revealing that he prefers to hear the scrip instead, Salman added, “I prefer to get narrations from writer and director, so I know how they are seeing the film, or the direction they are taking. If I read a script then it goes into the zone of how I would make that film. my vision would be different from the director or writer."

Among other subjects, Salman also spoke about how he always reaches out to his father Salim Khan during moments of confusion about a script. “Till today, if I am confused about a film, I take it to him. Then whatever he says, I will do that,” he said.

On a professional front, Salman Khan has Maatrubhumi in the pipeline. Initially titled Battle of Galwan, the war-drama is tentatively scheduled for August release this year.
