Pati Patni Aur Woh Do trailer promises a madcap entertainer

Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh star in the lead roles of the film

The trailer for Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, directed by Mudassar Aziz, has been released through an event and on social media. Described as an entertaining comedy drama, the upcoming film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh in its main roles. Sharing the Pati Patni Aur Woh Do trailer on Instagram, actor Rakul wrote, "15th May se Prajapati Pandey macha rahe hain bawaal... Kaun Patni, Kaun Woh? Hal karenge saare sawaal... Parivaar sahit dekhein!"

The film has been directed by Mudassar Aziz from a screenplay he has written with Ravi Kumar. Vijay Raaz, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Ayesha Raza, and Durgesh Kumar also play key roles in the film. Vishal Vasistha, Guneet Singh, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Deepika Amin, and Shireesh Kumar Sharma are part of the cast as well.

The trailer promises another film in the franchise where the protagonist is connected to multiple women, leading to suspicion about his behaviour. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra, Krishan Kumar, and Juno Chopra. It is slated for a May 15 release in theatres. The first part, Pati Patni Aur Woh, released in theatres back in 2019, and it stars Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, and Bhumi Pednekar. The 2019 original is the remake of an eponymous 1970s film and also features Ayushmann's sibling, Aparshakti Khurrana, in a supporting role.

On the technical front, the upcoming film has cinematographer Jishnu Bhattacharjee and editor Ninad Khanolkar. Those who have worked on its music comprise Rajesh Roshan, Tanishk Bagchi, Rochak Kohli, Neelkamal Singh, Lijo George, Tony Kakkar, Badshah, and Devv Sadaana.
