Anshula Kapoor, the daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor, recently tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Rohan Thakkar. With the Kapoors celebrating Anshula and Rohan's new journey together, they received the wishes and blessings of none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

An excerpt from Modi's note shared by Boney Kapoor earlier this Friday reads, "Heartfelt gratitude for inviting me to the wedding ceremony being held on 06 July, 2026. As the couple build a life together, may the joy they find in each other grow brighter everyday and the bond between the two remain unbreakable." The note further added, "May the journey through life as true partners, accepting each other's imperfections and growing through each other's strengths. Once again, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to Kapoor family on this special and momentous occasion."

In response, Boney Kapoor wrote, "Heartfelt gratitude to our inspirational and Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji for your warmest wishes and altruistic blessings to Anshula and Rohan on their auspicious wedding. Your benevolent blessings have made this joyous occasion even more memorable for the couple and the entire Kapoor Family. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and touched by your kindness and very humbly thank you for your personal affectionate blessings Sir."

Boney Kapoor is an admirer of PM Modi. In a recent episode of the television program called The Modi Story, the producer compared the prime minister with Mahatma Gandhi. In it, the filmmaker said that it becomes more important when Modi acknowledges the importance of Gandhi in India's history. He said, "Involving film industry people to work on the thoughts of Gandhi Ji and the way he is trying to propagate all what Gandhi stood for... This speaks volumes of his nature, character and outlook, and the way he thinks about what Gandhi has done for our nation."
