Dhurandhar actor Nadeem Khan was arrested by Mumbai Police on January 22 , following a complaint by a domestic worker who accused the actor of rape and sexual exploitation over many years. The case has been registered at Malvani Police Station.
According to reports, the 41-year-old survivor first came in touch with Nadeem in 2015, and began working at his Malvani residence after working at homes of many actors. The two eventually entered into a physical relationship after Nadeem gave her promises of marriage. The survivor further alleged that Nadeem repeatedly exploited her sexually over many years, while giving her false promises of marriage.
She also said that she initially remained silent due to emotional pressure, but decided to approach Versova police in early January after Nadeem backed out of his promises. Eventually, the case was transferred to Malvani Police Station on a zero FIR, since the survivor resides in that area and the alleged physical relationship took place for the first time at the complainant’s house within the jurisdiction of Malvani police.
Based on her complaint, police are also examining whether there were any similar complaints previously filed against the actor. As of now, no official statement from Nadeem Khan’s legal representatives has been issued. According to reports, the investigation is at an early stage and Nadeem is currently in custody, being questioned as part of the probe. Any further legal action will depend on the evidence gathered during interrogation and inquiry.
In Dhurandhar, Nadeem played the role of Akhlaq, Rahman Dakait’s cook. He will also be seen in the upcoming film Vadh 2. His previous on-screen appearances include films like Mimi (2021), Vadh (2022), and Main Ladega (2024).
