Dhurandhar, the Ranveer Singh starrer spy-thriller continues to perform exceptionally well at the box office despite entering its 6th week. Surprisingly, the film even performed than the Hindi version of Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab, which released on Friday.

The Ranveer Singh starrer garnered Rs 5.75 crore at domestic box office on Saturday, according to Sacnilk.com. In comparison, The Raja Saab, which was mounted as a massive pan-India release banking on Prabhas’ stardom, collected Rs 5.1 crore on the same day.

Going by the current trend, Dhurandhar will continue to outperform The Raja Saab on Sunday as well. As of 6pm, the Aditya Dhar directorial has collected Rs 4.75 crore nett in India. The film will also likely emerge as the highest grossing Hindi film ever, crossing the collections of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which had garnered Rs 812.14 crore (nett) in its Hindi version.

Meanwhile, after taking a staggering opening, The Raja Saab continues to struggle at the box office. The Prabhas starrer, which collected Rs 26 crore nett on Saturday in all its language versions combined, will likely earn around Rs 21-22 crore on Sunday going by the current trend. On the other hand, the makers of Dhurandhar are currently busy wrapping work for Dhurandhar 2, aiming for a release on March 19, where it will clash directly against the much-anticipated Yash starrer Toxic. The teaser for Toxic, unveiled few days ago, generated polarised reactions among film-goers with its strong graphic content.
