On Thursday, the makers of Junaid Khan-Sai Pallavi starrer Ek Din had announced the release date of their film. The team unveiled the official trailer on Friday.

Directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din promises to be a mushy love story, high on emotions and grandeur of old-school romance. The teaser largely plays on little moments between the two protagonists as they share memories and life lessons over icecream dates and long walks. The film promisingly will largely unfold from the perspective of its male protagonist who has resolved to win the affections of Meera (Sai Pallavi), and continues to believe in the power and magic of otherworldly love.

Sunil has previously worked as an assistant director on several Aamir Khan productions like Delhi Belly, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Dhobi Ghat. By the looks of it, the film is entirely shot on foreign locales.

Aamir Khan is co-producing the film with Mansoor Khan and Aparna Purohit. The script for Ek Din has been penned by Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra. The technical team includes Manoj Lobo as cinematographer, Ballu Saluja as editor, and Vikram Singh and Parul Rai as production designer duo. Ek Din also marks maiden collaboration between composer Ram Sampath and lyricst Irshad Kamil.

Ek Din also marks Hindi debut for Sai Pallavi, who has been active in south Indian film industry for nearly a decade now. She will also be seen in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.  Junaid was previously seen in Loveyapa, which also starred Khushi Kapoor.
