Khosla Ka Ghosla, the iconic comedy that released in 2006, is getting a sequel after nearly 20 years. Interestingly, while most cast members from the original return for the sequel, the makers have new team helming writing and direction, replacing Dibakar Banarjee and Jaideep Sahni. In a new social media post, Anupam Kher shared a few BTS stills from the sets of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2, penning a jubilant note about the project.

Taking to his X page, Anupam posted, “Khoslas are back, and how! I have been in movies now for four decades. But never have I experienced this crazy anticipation for the sequel of any movie (including International) as in the case of #KhoslaKaGhosla2! I wonder what is it that resonates with the magic of this film!”

Anupam also asked his fans to share their reasons for looking forward to the film. “Please share with what you think are the REASONS for this excitement (from all age groups)! I am genuinely curious!! Jai Mata Di!,” he added.

In one of the pictures shared by him, Anupam can be seen with other actors like Kiran Juneja, Tara Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, and Parvin Dabas. In another, Anupam is present at the muhurat shot with Savita Raj Hiremath, one of the producers.

Additionally, the film features Boman Irani reprising his role from the original and adds Ravi Kishan to the cast. More details about the crew members are yet to be officially announced.

Khosla Ka Ghosla was produced by Ronnie Screwala and Savita Raj Hiremath.  Besides emerging as a sleeper hit at the box office, the film also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 54th National Film Awards.
