A few days ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Subedaar released the complete OST. T-series owns the music rights for the Anil Kapoor starrer that will arrive on Prime Video on March 5.  With multiple composers on board, the Subedaar album features vocals by Vishal Dadlani, Shreya Ghoshal, IP Singh, Shubham Shirule, Akashdeep Sengupta, Mukund Suryawanshi, GD Kaur, Rohan Utpat, and Vinayak Salvi.

‘Lalla’ is the song of the album, with it’s grungy rock guitar riffs and Vishal Dadlani’s swaggy vocals. Rishi Upadhyay has penned the lyrics and Rohan Vinayak is the composer. ‘Subedaar theme’ belongs to the same world as Lalla. Composed by Rohan Vinayak and vocals by Rohan Utpat and Vinayak Salvi, the music piece works effectively as an adrenaline-infusing musical theme for its protagonist Arjun Maurya.

Maai Meri, composed, sung and written by Shubham Shirule, is a very folk-driven composition, rooted in its melody and earthiness.

Chilam Tambaku (Recreated version), on the other hand, is an upbeat and pacey composition, almost a dance number. Sung by Akashdeep Sengupta and Mukund Suryawanshi, the number is created by Agram. Balam Subedaar is a peppy reprise of the viral Haryanvi song ‘Balam Thanedaar,’ the number gets its extra pump with its use of bass and rap section. With vocals by GD Kaur, the refreshed version is composed by Rutvik Talashilkar with recreation lyrics by Youngveer.

Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, ‘Ae Ri Sakhi’ provides a serene balance to the otherwise upbeat and peppy mood of the album. IP Singh has recreated the lyrics inspired by poetry of Amir Khusrau, besides being the co-composer along with Akshay.

Suresh Triveni, producer-director of Subedaar shared, “For me, the music was always about revealing different sides of Arjun Maurya. We wanted the album to feel well-rounded, so that whether you connect with the energy, the emotion, or the rhythm, there’s a song that speaks to you. Each track adds a layer to the character, and together, the album reflects the strength, vulnerability, and rooted identity that drive the film.”

Produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor, and Suresh Triveni, Subedaar also features Mona Singh, Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Khushbu Sundar, and Faisal Malik in the lead cast. The action-drama is written by Suresh Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekar with dialogues by Suresh Triveni, Saurabh Dwivedi and Prajwal Chandrashekar.

The Anil Kapoor starrer is set to premiere in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across India and over 240 countries and territories.  The music album is now available on all leading music streaming platforms
