In Which Annie Gives it Those Ones, the 1989 independent movie featuring renowned writer Arundhati Roy in a prominent role, will have a limited theatrical release in March. Film Heritage Foundation, the not-for-profit organisation which supervised the restoration process of the film, made the announcement on their X page.

The film will be screened in 14 cities across the country on March 13, 14, and 15.  Directed by Pradip Kishen, the film told the story of a young Architecture student (Arjun Raina) tackling personal struggles and academic challenges while navigating an archaic system and rigid professors at once. Meanwhile, Arundhati Roy played a rebellious student named Radha, besides penning the screenplay for the film.

The film featured many notable names in the supporting cast Roshan Seth, Rituraj, Divya Seth, Himani Shivpuri, Sitaram Panchal and Raghuvir Yadav.

Additionally, Shah Rukh Khan too appears in a small appearance, technically making his film debut 3 years before his full-fledged debut in Deewana (1992).

In Which Annie Gives it Those Ones was also the recipient of two National Awards that year — Best Screenplay and Best Feature Film in English.

The film had a premiere recently at the Berlinale International Film Festival, where it received a standing ovation.
