Earlier this month, Kangana Ranaut found herself in the midst of a public spat with Baba Ramdev after she lambasted him, asking him to take care of his SC case when the latter remarked about Kangana’s ‘Gen Z is Gutter generation’ statement. However, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Kangana and Baba Ramdev decided to mutually end their feud.

Taking to her Instagram stories section, where she shared a video of Ramdev expressing a desire to end the fight with her and start a conversation, Kangana wrote, “Festivals are meant for forgetting all mistakes, and letting bygones be bygones. My brother Baba Ramdev has said such a wise thing that one must always converse and not debate.”

Further accepting Baba Ramdev’s gesture, the Queen actor wrote, “On the day of Raksha Bandhan, I accept the sweets and the love offered by a big brother. Thank you so much, may god grant you a long life.”

In the clip shared by Kangana, Baba Ramdev said that any dispute should be resolved by dialogue, and that there should be no hatred or hostility in the nation among anyone for any reason, adding, “There was a controversy a few days ago, about an argument between us. I don't want to escalate the matter."

The feud had begun a few weeks ago when Baba Ramdev had said about Kangana Ranaut, “What was her childhood like? What was her youth like? What were her past accomplishments like? I don't want to talk about such people. Calling the youth ‘generation gutter’ is a sign of a corrupted mind.”

In response, Kangana accused Baba Ramdev of crossing ‘every boundary of decency,’ adding, “Baba ji, don't daydream about my youth or bedroom. At least the Supreme Court has never named me in a case for false/fraud efficacy claims based on hard facts, not some gossip or assumptions." The Supreme Court jibe was in reference to the countless controversies surrounding Ramdev and his Patanjali brand.
