Among the reactions, actor Manasi Parekh’s posts stood out as she revealed that she was due to visit one of the affected areas just a day after the floods.

Manasi Parekh is currently in China as part of a Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage with Sadhguru. Sharing footage of the devastation around Gyirong Port in Tibet, she revealed that the group had been scheduled to reach the location the following morning. “This is what happened. We were supposed to be here tomorrow morning,” she wrote. In another post, she shared a video from her visit to the same spot five days earlier, adding, “I was literally welcomed at this spot 5 days ago. So warmly! And now the whole place is submerged.”

Arasan actor Silambarasan TR, meanwhile, reacted to the scale of the devastation, describing the scenes from Nepal as heartbreaking. He extended his prayers to families who have lost loved ones, those affected by the floods and people still awaiting rescue.

Actor Sanjay Dutt also expressed his support for the victims and their families. He said his thoughts and prayers were with everyone impacted by the floods and assured those affected that he stood with them during the crisis.

The floods along the border have caused widespread destruction, with deaths reported and several people still missing as rescue and relief efforts continue. The celebrity reactions come amid growing concern over the situation and the humanitarian impact of the disaster.
