Yesterday, we had reported about the makers of Ek Din releasing their film’s complete OST. On Thursday, the lyrical video for the single ‘Konichiwa’ was unveiled. The upcoming romance stars Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.

Sung by Arijit Singh, Neha Karode and Rishi Singh, ‘Konichiwa’ is an upbeat travel song with catchy beats and a pleasant melody. Ram Sampath has composed the upbeat number, while lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil.  "Konichiwa bolte bolte… trip ban gayi memory!,” the makers added the caption with the song release.

The music video captures the charm of Japan along with joyous moments spent by the film’s protagonists on their work trip to Japan. However, amidst the blissful memories, the song video also makes space for the male protagonist’s melancholy as he distantly observes his crush getting along with another man, their boss (played by Kunal Kapoor).

Produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Ek Din is directed by Sunil Pandey. Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra serve as the scriptwriters.

Junaid was last seen in the romantic comedy Loveyapa, which also marked Khushi Kapoor's theatrical debut. Sai Pallavi too had her last theatrical release, Thandel, over an year ago.

The film is set to release in theaters on May 1, 2026.
