A few days ago, we had reported about the makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai postponing their release date from June 5 to June 12, after Yash-starrer Toxic decided to postpone their release to June 5. Now, the makers of the Varun Dhawan-Pooja Hegde-Mrunal Thakur starrer are reportedly planning to commence promotions for their film.

On Tuesday, the Hai Jawani Toh… team shared a new poster of their film. The poster features Varun and Pooja sharing an intimate moment by the beach side. Both Varun and Pooja shared the poster on their Instagram pages with the caption, “Ishq Sirf ek baar hota hai.”

Directed by David Dhawan, who makes his return to big screen after 5 years, Hai Jawani Toh… also features Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in pivotal roles. Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films serves as the producer.

The romantic-comedy marks fourth collaboration between Varun and his father, after Main Tera Hero (2014), Judwaa 2 (2017) and Coolie No. 1 (2020). The film also marks Varun’s maiden film both with Pooja and Mrunal.

Hai Jawani Toh.. is now set to clash at the box office against Main Vaapas Aaunga, another multi-starrer by Imtiaz Ali.

Varun was last seen in Border 2. Mrunal, meanwhile, has another release coming up with Dacoit, the Telugu-Hindi bilingual romantic thriller that is slated for April 10 release.
