The second teaser of Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming war-drama 120 Bahadur was unveiled, on the occasion of late singer Lata Mangeshkar’s birth anniversary, on Sunday. The film, directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, is based on the Battle of Rezang La, which occurred during the 1962 war, where 120 Indian soldiers fought against thousands of Chinese troops.

The teaser has a modern rendition of Mangeshkar’s iconic song ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo’ playing in the background. The video gives us a glimpse into the bloody battle between Indian and Chinese troops. Although no plot points are revealed, the teaser has more of Farhan’s Major Shaitan Singh Bhati commanding and leading the soldiers of Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment into battle.

Talking about the release of the teaser on Mangeshkar’s birth anniversary, Farhan had said, “It is special to unveil teaser 2 of 120 Bahadur on this day. The song was written for the brave soldiers and martyrs of the 1962 India-China war and sung live by Lata ji, the recordings of which continue to stir the soul of the nation even today. The message of our film is aligned with Kavi Pradeep ji’s heartfelt lyrics.”

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), 120 Bahadur releases in cinemas on November 21.
