The title and first poster of Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film, starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, has been unveiled. In tune with Vishal’s obsession with Shakespeare, the film is called O’ Romeo.

The poster, shared by the makers, gives off a very Western look. It features a man, probably Shahid, with his face hooded under a cowboy hat. There is a logo of a razor on his hat.

The film, which was earlier slated to release on December 5, will now hit theatres on Valentine’s Day. “Aa raha hai… #ORomeo.. this Valentine’s Day (ORomeo is coming... this Valentine's Day),” read the caption on the post shared by Vishal.

O’ Romeo also features Nana Patekar and Avinash Tiwary, and will also have Disha Patani in a cameo.

According to reports, the film is a biopic of gangster Hussain Ustara. It was originally conceived as a biopic of gangster Sapna didi that would have seen Deepika Padukone in the titular role and the late Irrfan Khan in the role of Hussain. Later, rumours stated that Kartik Aaryan was in talks to play the gangster, but now the character will be materialized by Vishal’s frequent collaborator Shahid.

O’ Romeo will be Vishal and Shahid’s fourth collaboration after Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014) and Rangoon (2017).
