Sooryavanshi actor Ashish Warang passes away at 55

Ashish Warang was known for playing smaller roles in films like Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam

Actor Ashish Warang has passed away at the age of 55 in Thane, as per reports. The reason for his death is not yet confirmed. The actor was best known for playing smaller roles in films like Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam.

As per reports, the actor was not keeping well for sometime and had recovered from jaundice in December last year. A sudden illness led to his death. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited.

As news of his death came out, netizens paid tribute to the actor on social media. Independent filmmaker, Arin Paul wrote, “Shocked to hear about the passing of actor Ashish Warang today. I had the privilege of working with him. May his soul find peace and his work live on in the memories he helped create. Will miss you Ashish Ji"

Over the years, Ashish shared screen space with several stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan among others. He played pivotal roles in films like Mardaani, Circus, Simmba and Ek Villian Returns. He also appeared in many ad films over the years.

Apart from his work in Hindi films, Ashish also worked regularly in Marathi movies and South Indian productions.
