In an exciting clash at the box office this year, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s courtroom comedy Jolly LLB 3 is set to be releasing on the same day as Anurag Kashyap’s crime-drama, Nishaanchi. The trailer of Nishaanchi was unveiled recently and Akshay praised it, wishing luck to Aaishvary Thackeray who is set to make his Bollywood debut with the film.
Akshay re-shared the trailer on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Just watched the trailer of Nishaanchi. Looks fantastic! Aaishvary Thackeray, your hard work really shows. Wishing you all the very best for this new journey. Love and prayers."
Even Amitabh Bachchan shared the trailer on X and wrote, “All my good wishes.”
Ayushmann Khurrana shared it on his social media as well and congratulated Aaishvary in Hindi while praising Anurag. Varun Grover shared the trailer and wrote on Instagram, “Anurag Kashyap’s new spectacle. It is looking quite entertaining.”
Nishaanchi also stars Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Kumud Mishra, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles. It follows the tangled journey of two twin brothers going on starkly different paths with their choices shaping their destinies.
Earlier, talking about the film Anurag had said, “Nishaanchi is my full-on Salim-Javed zone of film; it has the hero, the drama, and the payoff a film must deliver. I spent 69 days on it, and it’s my longest and most elaborate shoot yet.”
Produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films, the film is written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel, and Anurag Kashyap. It is slated to release in theatres on September 19 along with Jolly LLB 3 which is helmed by Subhash Kapoor and also stars Saurabh Shukla in a pivotal role.
