‘The Phoogdi Dance’ a new dance song led by Nana Patekar from Housefull 5 was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. It is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Kratex, who has also sung it and written the lyrics.

The music video of the song features the actors, including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade and Soundarya Sharma. It is an electronic mix featuring Nana’s voice along with the lyrics. Nana does some of his dance steps and urges others to follow. One by one, others come and dance as he looks at their moves. The song brings a fun twist to a traditional phoogdi dance adding a wild, quirky flavour with some comic flair.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 has been written and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and will be released in theatres on June 6.
