The first look from Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming romantic-drama Param Sundari was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. The film, directed by Tushar Jalota (Dasvi, 2022), is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.

The 55-second clip introduces us to the lead couple Param (Sidharth) and Sundari (Janhvi). The first look is of Param’s chiselled physique and then we see that he cleans up well too as he is shown in a sports coat in a corporate setup in North India. Sundari, on the other hand, is teased to be a South Indian beauty full with saree and gajra in the backdrop of, what seems like, Kerala’s backwaters. A song in Sonu Nigam’s voice soothes in the background as the couple romance in picturesque locations.

Param Sundari has been officially described as “Where North’s fire meets South’s grace, it calls for the biggest love story of the year.”

The film will mark the first collaboration between Sidharth and Janhvi. Sidharth was last seen in the actioner Yodha (2024), while Janhvi’s Homebound was recently screened at Cannes.

Param Sundari is scheduled to release in theatres on July 25.
