Vijay Varma opened up recently about his upcoming projects and said that he is lucky to work with directors who see more in him than he sees in himself. The actor will be seen next in Vibhu Puri’s Ul Jalool Ishq, also starring Naseeruddin Shah and Fatima Sana Shaikh and Nagraj Manjule’s web-series Matka King.

Speaking about it, he said, "I'm very excited about the upcoming Ul Jalool Ishq... it's a very exciting and a very simple, lovely, beautiful, rich love story. I am in the process of wrapping Matka King. It's again one of those larger-than-life epic stories of a man who found a loophole in the system and made the most out of it."

Talking about the kind of projects he wants to do, Vijay said, "The pursuit actually is to be able to push boundaries and check if I can do more than what I did before. It all boils down to the opportunities, and somehow, I've been lucky to get great opportunities and to work with directors who see more in me than I see in myself."

He was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s web-series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, which released on Netflix.
