Aamir Khan introduced his partner Gauri Spratt on his 60th birthday during a press meet on Thursday. The actor said that he has known her for 25 years. Gauri attended the informal press meet in Mumbai to celebrate Aamir’s birthday.

Aamir said that the two reconnected one and a half years back. Gauri is from Bengaluru and works currently at Aamir’s production house. She has a six-year-old son. Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. He got separated from Kiran in 2021.

During the press meet, Aamir also spilt some beans on his dream project on the mythological epic of Mahabharat and said that work on it has started. “We have put together a team, and the writing work has started,” he said. When asked if the project will be out in the next five years, Aamir replied, “Let’s see how the first phase goes. I will take a call on it then.”

Aamir also expressed his interest in starring in the sequel of Rajkumar Santoshi's Andaz Apna Apna alongside Salman Khan. He said, “I would love to see Andaz Apna Apna 2 happen. We have told Santosh to write the script. Salman and I would want to do it.”

The actor also spoke about his upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par, and said, “It’s a sequel to Taare Zameen Par, but it has a different central character compared to the original. That film was emotional and made you cry. This will make you laugh. Sitaare Zameen Par has a great thought. It’s futuristic in its own way.”
