Kajol says Ramoji Film City is a haunted place: ‘God has protected me and I haven’t seen anything’

Kajol recently said in an interview that Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad is a haunted place. The actor is gearing up for the release of her supernatural horror film, Maa.

During an interview, the actor recalled instances when she was scared while shooting at some places. “There are many such places where we have gone for shooting and were unable to sleep at night. Or not feeling like coming back to the place. We have prime examples of such places. Ramoji Rao Studios and in Hyderabad itself, is considered one of the most haunted places in the world. But god has protected me and I haven’t seen anything.”

Maa is set in the world of Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan and has been directed by Vishal Furia with a screenplay by Saiwyn Quadras. It also stars Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta and Jitin Gulati in pivotal roles.

Produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, it is set to be released in theatres on June 27.
