Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur has died of heart attack at the age of 53 in England. As per an India Today report, he was playing polo when he started feeling uneasy. Sunjay, who was a businessman, had made his last tweet about the Gujarat plane crash, expressing his grief and offering prayers for the victims.

After hearing the news, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were seen going to Karisma’s residence in Mumbai to offer support. Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora and their family were also seen arriving at Karisma’s residence.

Actor and author Suhel Seth confirmed the news of Sunjay’s death on X as he wrote, “Deeply saddened at the passing of Sunjay Kapur. He passed away earlier today in England: a terrible loss and deepest condolences to his family and to his colleagues.”

Karisma and Sunjay got married in 2003. The two got separated in 2014 and took divorce in 2016. They have two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaara. After his divorce, Sunjay got married to Priya Sachdev and they have a son.
