Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa have wrapped shooting for their upcoming romantic-drama, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Harshvardhan is set to begin shooting for his next film from July.

Harshvardhan took to Instagram to make the announcement on Friday. In the caption, he wrote, “Finished shooting for Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat yesterday, exam in a week and then next films shoot starts July, was craving to see some animals and be close to mother nature so came back to the pride of India.”

Described as a musical love story, the film has been helmed by Milap Zaveri, known for making actioners like Marjaavaan (2019) and Satyamev Jayate (2018), among others. It is written by Mushtaq Shiekh and Milap. Produced by Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan, the Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat will be released in theatres on October 2.

Harshvardhan will also be seen in Sanam Teri Kasam 2, a sequel to his 2016 romantic film, which was re-released in theatres earlier this year. He was last seen in The Miranda Brothers, directed by Sanjay Gupta, which was released last year on JioHotstar.
