Dhurandhar continues its successful run at the box office, as it has now collected Rs 870.36 crores worldwide. The Aditya Dhar directorial, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, was released theatrically on December 5.

According to the makers, the film collected more than Rs 40 crores at the box office on Day 17 of its theatrical run. The film opened with Rs 28.6 crores at the India box office. Dhurandhar's opening was higher than Simmba and Padmavaat.

The spy thriller follows the story of an undercover operative, tasked at bringing down the Pakistani mafia. A sequel for the film is set to be released on March 19.

CE's review for the film reads, "Dhurandhar blends the elements of a spy-thriller and an epic gangster saga. The result is a film which is always pregnant with promise but never delivers. At a run-time of 3. 5 hours (longest since 2008's Jodhaa Akbar), the film sometimes hits but often misses on the engagement meter. It packs a lot."
