Kajol took to Instagram on Wednesday to share some glimpses from her 1998 romance-drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as it completed 26 years.The Karan Johar directorial also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji.

Kajol shared her look from the film, wearing a hairband and colorful clothes as she wrote in the caption, “Still feeling the same, even though I seem to have grown up 26 years later”.

Karan also shared a short video featuring some behind-the-scenes from the film, featuring him, his father Yash Johar and others. He wrote in the caption, “Of cool neck chains, neon shirts, pink head bands, summer camp with only dancing involved, wishing on toota taaras (shooting stars), cheating in basketball, dosti that turns into pyaar and characters that live through time and beyond! To my first film as a director. To the best cast & crew on set. To taking that feeling of day one and keeping it alive....26 years later!”

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai told the story of Anjali (Kajol), who loves her best friend in college Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and is saddened when he falls for Tina, a new student, whom he eventually marries. Years later, Rahul’s daughter sets out reunite him with Anjali. The film released in theatres on October 16, 1998 and was the highest grossing Indian film that year.

Kajol will be seen next in Do Patti, a thriller which also stars Kriti Sanon. It is set to be released on Netflix on October 25.
