The first official photograph from Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt's wedding has been released, offering a glimpse into the couple's low-key ceremony held at the actor's Bandra residence on Sunday.
Shared by Aamir's official spokesperson on Instagram, the image captures the newlyweds seated on the floor as they sign their marriage documents inside their home. The ceremony was attended only by close family and friends, including their children from previous marriages.
In the photograph, Gauri's son stands between the couple, while Aamir's son Azad, whom he shares with filmmaker Kiran Rao, sits beside the actor. Family members can be seen gathered around as the marriage is formally registered, with Aamir's mother, Zeenat Hussain, also visible in the background. For the occasion, Aamir opted for a simple white traditional outfit paired with a bronze brooch, while Gauri wore a beige ensemble with minimal jewellery and her hair styled in a braid.
The private gathering was attended by Aamir's children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, the latter accompanied by her husband Nupur Shikhare. The guest list also reportedly included businessman Mukesh Ambani, politician Raj Thackeray, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, cricketer Irfan Pathan, actors Vir Das and Elli AvrRam, among a handful of other invitees.
Aamir and Gauri first crossed paths over two decades ago but reconnected in Bengaluru through the actor's cousin, Nuzhat Khan, a few years ago. Their friendship soon turned into a relationship, with the couple spending several months in a long-distance relationship before Gauri eventually moved to Mumbai. She now works with Aamir Khan Productions, assisting the actor in his production ventures.
This marks Aamir's third marriage. He was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he had two children, Junaid and Ira, before the couple separated in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and the two welcomed their son Azad before announcing their separation in 2021.
