The trailer for Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s spy-thriller web series Citadel: Honey Bunny will be out on October 15, the makers said in a promo video unveiled on Friday. Directed by Raj and DK, who have written it with Sita Menon, the series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.

The promo video features Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi, who play Shrikant and JK in Raj and DK’s Family Man. The two look over a file which has the names of Honey and Bunny and discuss over their prospects. But just as they talking, a pager suddenly beeps with a twist: “Honey and Bunny are here.”

The teaser for the series was released earlier that gave a glimpse into its retro-styled action. It is set in the 1990s where Varun and Samantha play spies.

The series is produced by D2R Films and Amazon MGM Studios and executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ (Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) AGBO and Raj & DK. It will be out on Prime Video on November 7.
