Nawazuddin Siddiqui on working with Aamir Khan in Sarfarosh and Talaash: Our bond was strong and full of mutual respect

The actor played smaller roles in these films starring Aamir Khan

Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened up recently about working with Aamir Khan in Sarfarosh (1999) and Talaash (2012) and said that their bond was just as strong off the set. He played the role of a criminal in Sarfarosh who is interrogated by Aamir’s character. He had a larger role in the 2012 film where he played the role of a small-time thug, Tehmur.

Recalling his experiences on the sets of these films, Nawazuddin talked about the camaraderie he shared with Aamir Khan. He mentioned that working alongside Aamir, both on and off the set, was an enriching experience. "Sharing the screen with Aamir in both Sarfarosh and Talaash has been a remarkable journey. Off the sets, our bond was just as strong, full of mutual respect and an unspoken understanding,” the actor said.

He added, “Aamir's dedication and passion for his craft are truly inspiring, and our discussions often went beyond scripts and scenes, we loved discussing cinema"

On the work front, Nawazuddin was last seen in the Telugu film Saindhav where he played the role of an antagonist. His last Hindi film was Haddi (2023) which came out on ZEE5.
