The series Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, starring Tahir Raj Bhasin and Shweta Tripathi Sharma, completed two years on Sunday. On the occasion, Tahir, who played the lead Vikrant Singh Chauhan in the series, said recently that the project made him realise his dream of playing the quintessential Hindi film hero on screen.

 “As someone who doesn’t have any connection in the industry, it was a dream for me to be a hero in a project and headline a film or a series,” he said.

“Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein enabled me to entertain people as the quintessential hero who could romance and who could step up and fight when needed,” he added.

The actor further said that having a hit film or a series is always a big plus because destinies are written and rewritten with every release.

“I am thrilled about how Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein has opened so many doors for me. I am happy that I could entertain people. It was a stepping stone for me to achieve greater heights,” he said.

Created by Sidharth Sengupta, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein released on Netflix on January 14, 2022. The series also starred Anchal Gupta, Saurabh Shukla and Brijendra Kala in pivotal roles.
