Actor Vineet Kumar Singh’s next, Match Fixing, has a new release date. The film, directed and shot by Kedar Gaekwad, missed the release date of November 15 and will now hit theatres on January 10.

Contrary to the title, Match Fixing isn’t about cricket and is a socio-political thriller based on the book The Game Behind Saffron Terror by Kanwar Khatana.

Vineet shared a new poster from the film and announced the release date in the caption, “Unbelievable truth of an officer. #MatchFixing, releasing in cinemas on 10th Jan 2025,” he wrote.

The film is produced by Pallavi Gurjar and more details from the project have been kept under wraps.

Vineet, known for his hard-hitting role in films like Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and Mukkabaaz, (2019) was last seen in Ghuspaithiya which released on August 9 this year. He will also be seen next in Reema Kagti’s Superboys of Malegaon, which had its world premiere recently at Toronto International Film Festival. Superboys of Malegaon also stars Adarsh Gourav and Shashank Arora in pivotal roles.
