It is now well known that Karan Johar's popular celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan is returning for its eighth season which starts on October 26. A new promo released today by Disney+Hotstar and Karan Johar revealed that the first guests of this season would be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.  

Karan took to social media to share the news and said, "They are absolutely gorgeous and absolutely at the top of their game...they are the true Bollywood royalty couple!!! I am so excited to kickstart this season of Koffee with Karan with my dearest Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone!"

The almost one-minute-long promo video has the couple sharing details about their relationship, wedding and engagement. When Karan Johar asked if they were secretly engaged, Ranveer replied, "In 2015 I proposed to her. Iske pehle ki koi aur ajaye, maine jake chappal rakh deta hun (before someone else does, I decided to)."

In another segment of the video, when Karan asked Deepika, "Would you ever date Rocky Randhawa?" Her reply was, "I am married to Rocky Randhawa." she also revealed that besides Ranveer, she has good chemistry with Hrithik. The two will co-star in Fighter. 

The last season of KWK opened on July 7 last year with an episode featuring besties Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, among others, also took to the KWK couch.
