The trailer of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s futuristic actioner Ganapath: A Hero is Born, was unveiled on Monday. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan.

The trailer takes us to a dismantling, post-apocalyptic, shabbily VFXed world. Tiger Shroff is Guddu/ Ganapath, an immortal messiah who is going to bridge the gap between ‘ameer-gareeb (the rich and poor).’ At frequent points in the trailer, Tiger is seen swinging kicks and it seems like he is playing the role of a cage fighter. Kriti Sanon is also seen swinging nunchucks. Then there is Amitabh Bachchan in white overalls, sporting a flowy beard. The film’s VFX, as per the trailer, looks stodgy.

Ganapath marks the reunion of Kriti and Tiger after nine years. The duo was last seen together in Heropanti (2014).

The film is presented by Pooja Entertainment in association with Good Co-Production. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Vikas Bahl. The film is set for a worldwide release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on October 20, 2023.
