Manoj Bajpayee on Joram, "It’s a very special film"

Manoj Bajpayee starrer Joram was screened at MAMI. The screening, attended by the film's cast, including Manoj Bajpayee and Tannishtha Chatterjee, had received appreciation from audiences. 

As the film and cast received a standing ovation at the full house premiere, Manoj shared, “It’s a very special film. I heard Joram’s script in 2016, and I was really moved by it. I just had to relive my childhood, and the character came alive for me. I am thrilled to step into the world of Bhaiyaaji. " 

Directed by Devashish Makhija, Joram is a psychological thriller about a hunted, displaced man who is on the run to protect his daughter. The film also deals with issues such as social inequalities, injustice with the tribal communities and deforestation. 

Joram is produced by Zee Studios and Makhijafilm. Besides Manoj and Tannishtha, the film also features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Rajshri Deshpande. 

The Mami screening was also attended by Smita Tambe, Megha Mathur, Devashish Makhija, Shariq Patel, Ashima Avasthi Chaudhari, Anupama Bose, and Bhumika Tiwari.
