Zwigato starring Kapil Sharma and Sahana Goswami is a slice-of-life drama written and directed by Nandita Das. The film’s release date has been announced by the makers, and the film will hit theatres on March 17. 

So far, Zwigato has had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, its Indian premiere at the 27th International Film Festival of Kerala, and its Asian premiere at the Busan International Film Festival. 

The trailer of Zwigato showed Kapil, an ex-floor manager of a factory who loses his job during the pandemic. He then works as a food delivery rider, grappling with the world of ratings and incentives. His wife is played by Shahana Goswami, who begins to explore different work opportunities, with fear but also the excitement of new-found independence. The film is set in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
