Rue (Zendaya) is questioned by the DEA in a drug bust while Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) tie the knot in the new trailer of Euphoria season 3. Scheduled to premiere on April 12, the third and final season of the series also stars Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and the late Eric Dane in his final appearance.

We see all the characters grown up, with Rue having run away from her home, knee deep as a suspect in a narcotics related investigation. Meanwhile, Cassie's marriage to Nate seems to throw new surprises at her. While Maddy (Damie) and Cassie seem to still be in touch as best friends, there's also a certain mysticism associated with what Jules (Hunter Schafer) is up to.

In the new season, the show is fast-forwarded by five years, where Rue is living in Mexico and paying off her debt to drug dealer Laurie (Kelly), while Cassie and Nate are married and residing in the suburbs. Levinson previously disclosed that Maddy works at a Hollywood talent agency and Jules attends art school.

With Colman Domingo in a guest role, the new season expands its cast as well, with Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry—both previously recurring—now stepping into series-regular roles. New additions include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace. Returning cast members from the earlier seasons include Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Nika King, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner.

Created by Sam Levinson, the final season of Euphoria is coming up more than four years after the second season had its premiere on HBO.
