Ahead of the trailer release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the makers of the film have been releasing short clips which offers a first look at the film. The upcoming superhero flick, which sees the return of Tom Holland as the titular character, will release on July 31.
The upcoming film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Wonder Man, which he co-created and served as an executive producer. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers have written the script. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing the film. Columbia Pictures, Marvel Studios, and Pascal Pictures are backing the film.
Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are returning as MJ and Ned Leeds. The cast also features Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colon-Zayas are also part of the film.
The upcoming film is intended to be the first in a new trilogy of Spider-Man films, with Holland as the lead. The plot details are yet to be revealed.
