Spider-Man's adventures for his latest adventure Brand New Day has come to an end as director Destin Daniel Cretton announced that the fourth film in the Tom Holland-headlined Spider-Man movies has completed filming after four months.

Sharing a photo with Tom Holland on his Instagram handle, where he was given multiple garlands of flowers, Cretton thanked the actor for his "kind, generous leadership on and off screen, for your relentless work ethic, your fearless performances, and for your friendship."

In a long note, he also expressed gratitide to his wife, kids, and cast and crew members of the film. He further added that Brand New Day was the "most rewarding" he had ever been a part of. Filming began in Glasgow this August and was briefly on pause after Holland suffered a concussion. Production resumed in November end after he recovered.

As previously announced, Mark Ruffalo will return to for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Along with Ruffalo, Michael Mando, who was seen in an end credits scene for Spider-Man: Homecoming, will return as the villain Scorpion. Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher after Daredevil: Born Again. Bernthal will also portray The Punisher in a special presentation from Marvel. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also returning. The cast also includes newcomers to MCU such as Liza Colon-Zayas, known for The Bear, Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), and Tramell Tillman (Severance) and Marvin Jones III (Tombstone).

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will begin on the heels of the previous film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which ended with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) casting a spell over the world, to make everyone forget Peter Parker, in order to protect his identity as Spider-Man. This includes his close friends MJ and Ned (Zendaya and Jacob Batalon). The film is Cretton's second MCU film after Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Spider-Man Brand New Day will release in theatres worldwide on July 31, 2026.
