Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to hold its ground at the Indian box office as it enters its third week of release. The Tom Holland-led Marvel film recorded an uptick in collections on its 20th day, recovering from the slowdown witnessed at the beginning of the week.
According to industry tracking platform Sacnilk, Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned an estimated Rs 2.55 crore net in India on Tuesday (August 18). The film registered the collection from around 3,317 shows, taking its India net total to approximately Rs 471.70 crore.
In gross terms, the Marvel superhero film has accumulated around Rs 563.92 crore in India. With its third Tuesday performance showing an improvement over Monday, the film continues to attract audiences despite entering the latter stages of its theatrical run.
The film's India performance is particularly notable given its status as one of the biggest Hollywood releases of the year. It has already emerged as the second-highest-grossing film in India in 2026, according to the latest figures.
The film's impressive run extends well beyond the Indian market. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now crossed the $2 billion mark worldwide, with its global haul estimated at around $2.03 billion. The milestone came just 20 days after its theatrical release, making it the second-fastest film ever to reach $2 billion. Avengers: Endgame remains the fastest, having achieved the feat in 11 days. The current worldwide tally includes approximately $794 million from the domestic market and $1.23 billion from international territories.
Having already moved past Spider-Man: No Way Home's worldwide haul of approximately $1.92 billion, Brand New Day is now closing in on another major Marvel benchmark. The film is roughly $20 million short of Avengers: Infinity War's $2.05 billion global theatrical haul. If it manages to cross that figure, Brand New Day would become the second-highest-grossing Marvel film worldwide, behind only Avengers: Endgame, which finished its run with approximately $2.80 billion.
