Singer-songwriter Lady Gaga was all in praise for her fiance Michael Polansky after receiving the highest nominations at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards where she received the Artist of the Year award. Following the event, she thanked her fiance, expressing gratitude for being through her highs and lows, especially during the production of her seventh album Mayhem.
In a long post on her Instagram handle, she shared two pictures and wrote about being the "luckiest girl alive". "Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you--talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined," she wrote.
She continued, "I'm forever grateful for how much you love and fight for me. You work so so hard with me from dawn till dusk every day living the music, performances, and plans with your blood sweat and tears-- to see it through every step of the way this year I am the luckiest girl alive." Lady Gaga also called him a "man of many talents" and a "renaissance man" and appreciated him for his kindness. "I have seen there's nothing you can't do. You are MY artist of the year. And the love of my life. Thank you for making all our MAYHEM dreams come true. I love you," she added.
Lady Gaga, who was recently seen in Wednesday season 2: Part 2 in a cameo role as Rosaline Rotwood, bagged the award after receiving 12 nominations at the VMA awards. Later, she performed a show at Madison Square Garden for her upcoming Mayhem Ball Tour. Michael Polansky is credited as a writer on few songs, including Disease and Vanish into You.
A Harvard graduate, Polansky is the co-creator and executive director of the Parker Foundation. He also co-founded big tech firms like Napster and Facebook. He is also on the board of the San Francisco–based Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, which sponsors research on cancer treatment.
