Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its five-part docu-series, Mr Scorsese. The series, which is set to premiere on October 17, chronicles the career of Martin Scorsese.
Mr Scorsese will be directed by Rebecca Miller, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Damon Cardasis, Cindy Tolan, Rick Yorn, Christopher Donnelly and Julie Yorn. Ron Burkle produces the series, with Robert Fernandez and Patrick Walmsley serving as co-executive producers. Expanded Media, Round Films, LBI Entertainment, and Moxie Pictures are backing the series.
The docu-series will feature interviews from Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, Robbie Robertson, Thelma Schoonmaker, Steven Spielberg, Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster, Paul Schrader, Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett, Jay Cocks and Rodrigo Prieto, along with Scorsese's children, wife Helen Morris and childhood friends.
Mr Scorsese will follow the life of the filmmaker from his days as a New York University student, to his rise as a filmmaker, and the hurdles he faced.
