Apple TV announced that season two of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, will premiere on the platform on February 27, 2026. The second season will also see the return of Kurt Russell.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is developed by Chris Black and Matt Fraction for Apple TV. Black and Fraction are also serving as executive producers along with Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Chris Black, Andrew Colville, Jen Roskind, Matt Shakman and Lawrence Trilling. Black also serves as the showrunner for the second season. Safehouse Pictures and creators of the Godzilla and King Kong franchise Toho Co., Ltd., are backing the series.

The cast of the series also includes Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm.

The story of the series follows siblings who uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Their investigation into the ties, leads them to a series of clues that in turn connects to Lee Shaw, played by Kurt and Wyatt Russell.
