Jason Momoa is all set to star in an upcoming biking-based web series for Apple TV+. Titled Nomad, the drama is co-created by Sons of Anarchy-fame Kurt Sutter and Chris Collins.

According to the makers, the film is set in the violent underworld of New Zealand’s outlaw bikers. "A warrior torn between two lives, two callings and two families must decide which path defines his true destiny," reads the plotline.

The creators are currently writing the pilot episode. Collins, known for John Wick Chapter 3, Sons of Anarchy, The Man in the High Castle and The Wire, is serving as the showrunner of the series. Sutter and Collins are also executive producers of the show through their banners SutterInk and Generator Entertainment. Momoa and Brian Mendoza are also EPs through their On the Roam banner.

Momoa was last seen in the Hawaiian historical drama series Chief of War created by Thomas Paʻa Sibbett and Jason Momoa for Apple TV+. The actor also played a key role in the recent hit A Minecraft Movie, directed by Jared Hess where he played the lead role as Garrett "The Garbage Man" Garrison. A sequel for the film is in the making. Up next, he has a slew of films in his kitty including Animal Friends, Supergirl, Dune: Part Three, Street Fighter and Fast X: Part Two.
