During the weekend, Brad Pitt's F1 saw an increase in box office collections. The sports drama collected Rs 6.1 Crores on Sunday, with the total collection coming up to Rs 50.7 Crores, as per Sacnilk.
In its first week, the film saw a steady collection, with not much fluctuation in its daily collections. But it saw sharp rises on the opening weekend, and the weekend that went by.
The film followed the seasoned racer Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), who is bought back to the electric pathways of the Formula One racetracks. He goes head-to-head with his teammate Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), a rookie, and struggles to succeed.
Alongside Pitt and Idris, the film also starred Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo. Simone Ashley, known for her work on Netflix's Bridgerton, shot some scenes for the film, which was ultimately cut.
CE's review of the film read, "F1 isn’t a complex, philosophical dissection of that answer, nor does it go past a surface-level character study on Sonny Hayes. But what it does offer is just the right amount of fresh contours in this oft-beaten track that it feels safe and exciting."
