Another Simple Favor distributor Prime Video dropped a trailer for the Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively starrer, which serves as a sequel to their 2018 black comedy A Simple Favor. It brings back Kendrick's Stephanie Smothers, who attends Emily Nelson's (Lively) wedding to an affluent businessman on the Capri island in Italy. The official logline teases a film with murder, betrayal, and glamorous guests in another tale full of twists and turns. "If I do try to murder you, it will make an amazing sequel," says Emily to Stephanie at one point of the trailer. "Revenge is a dish best served chilled with a twist," reads the tagline in the trailer.

Paul Feig comes back as the film's director, alongside original cast members Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack.

The sequel to A Simple Favor is set to open the SXSW Festival, which will mark its global premiere.

Another Simple Favor is set to start streaming on Prime Video from May 01, 2025, onwards.
