The latest actor to join the star cast of Johnny Depp-Penelope Cruz starrer Day Drinker is Madelyn Cline of the Outer Banks fame.

After her breakout role in the Netflix series Outer Banks, Madelyn was seen making another stellar performance in Daniel Craig's Glass Onion. There was no looking back to her from then on. Along with Day Drinker, she also has the sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer and Amazon MGM's The Map That Leads To You.

The film, directed by Marc Webb, stars Depp as a bartender on a cruise ship where he comes across a day drinker with some mystery about her (Cruz). Their encounter puts them in a complex network of crime, with hidden dangers and unexpected connections.

Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee of Thunder Road Films, known for the John Wick series, serve as the producers of Day Drinker.

The film reunites Cruz with Depp. The actors have previously collaborated on films such as Blow, Murder on the Orient Express, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Webb, meanwhile, is known for the Amazing Spider-Man franchise. Webb is also part of the live-action Snow White film for Disney, which is in its postproduction phase.
