Netflix has announced the release date for the long awaited entrant in the Peaky Blinders universe. Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, which sees the return of Cillian Murphy as gangster-politician Tommy Shelby, is set to premiere on Netflix on March 20, 2026.

Speaking about the upcoming film to Netflix, Murphy said, "It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans."

With the sixth season of Peaky Blinders ending with the Shelby family disbanding, and Tommy's fight with the British Fascists, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is set in 1940, as Tommy is forced to return from his self-imposed exile. In a country that is on the verge of war, Tommy must face his most dangerous adversary yet.

Returning from the original series are Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby, Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong, Packy Lee as Johnny Dogs, and Ian Peck as Curly. Joining the cast of the film are Tim Roth, Barry Keoghan, Jay Lycurgo, and Rebecca Ferguson.

Netflix also recently announced that a new series set in the Peaky Blinders universe, will be developed by Knight. The new series will be set after the events of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, and will follow the story of a new generation of Shelbys.
