
Cillian Murphy's latest film Steve began streaming on Netflix from October 3. But the actor talked about his upcoming film, The Immortal Man, a spin-off to Peaky Blinders, while promoting Steve.
On The Graham Norton Show, the host, Graham Norton asked Murphy, if the movie was completed, when Murphy answered in the affirmative. Norton further asked as to "when was the movie going to be in the world", to which Murphy replied, "Next year (2026)."
The actor was also asked about the popularity of the haircut of Murphy's character, Tommy Shelby, to which Murphy said, "It's so disgusting, really." He also said, "The story behind the haircut was that it was done to prevent a lice infestation."
Murphy will return as Tommy Shelby in The Immortal Man, which also stars Barry Keoghan, Stephen Graham, and Sophie Rundle, amongst others. The film is written by the creator of Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight.
